My initial idea of “Bloody Mary” is similar of the character Mrs Lovett from the Tim Burton Film “Sweeney Todd”. The reason why is that she has the eccentric gothic curled and crimped hair I am inspired by and would like to apply to my gothic Bloody Mary look.
On top of the hair I can be more creative with, is the drained make up she wears. This can easily be turned around with a more contemporary make up, whilst still working around drained eyes and a matte complexion. The inspirational look is simple but I think very effective! In the end, it’s all about the expression that ties it all together making it one terrifying face!
When Bloody Mary creeps from the mirror, her eyes are perfectly lined with fresh red blood color. Glossy blood would be glistening under her eyelids, following down her lips, which will become a gruesome wound.
